| Our
Mission Statement ...
The Eumundi Museum is a professional institution
whose purpose is to promote awareness and knowledge of the District's
natural and cultural heritage, thereby stimulating a full appreciation
and perception of the history of the District to both visitor and
resident alike. The Museum develops regular programs and exhibitions
(both temporary and permanent) that increase the profile of the
Museum whilst promoting the understanding, enjoyment and education
of the District. Furthermore, the Museum realises that it is not
a static institution and is therefore dedicated towards conducting
regular and objective assessments of its collection and operation.
The District has been identified
as the areas bounded by Belli to the west, Verrierdale
and Doonan to the east, Main Camp
to the north and North Arm to the south.'
